
Luke C. Antonsen
Luke Antonsen was born and raised in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago, IL and is a graduate of Marist High School. Luke attained his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, where he recieved a major in Spanish and Political Science. Luke is a fluent Spanish speaker. He received his law degree from The John Marshall Law School where he was a Managing Editor for the John Marshall Journal of Computer & Information Law and a member of the Dean's List.
Throughout his legal career, Luke has gained invaluable knowledge in many aspects of the law. Upon obtaining his law degree, he worked extensively on a variety of complex civil litigation matters including: 9/11 litigation, the AT&T / SBC merger, pharmaceutical regulation of Oxycontin and Seroquel, and numerous reviews for the S.E.C. Luke further gained extensive experience in insurance defense while an associate with a defense firm in Chicago, IL. As a defense attorney, Luke successfully defended numerous insurance companies on both coverage issues and personal injury matters. Prior to co-founding Hamilton & Antonsen, Ltd., Luke was a Plaintiff's trial attorney in Chicago, IL. As a Plaintiff's attorney, Luke successfully litigated hundreds of cases from onset through final resolution via either settlement or jury trial, attaining exemplary results for his clients. Luke further managed all aspects of probate and family law matters as a Plaintiff's attorney including guardianships, minor's estates, and estate administration.
Luke is a member of The American Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association, The Chicago Bar Association, The Will County Bar Association, and the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Society. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children along with traveling, the White Sox, history, and the outdoors.
